PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily perform the confirmation of operation and trouble states at a point separated from a tower body, by mounting an operation display part performing display through the utilization of the explosive power of powder and a trouble display part to the tower body in an earth side. CONSTITUTION:When surge voltage due to the falling of a thunderbolt flows to a electric wire, said voltage is discharged at the air gap G between an arc horn 31 and a discharge electrode 35, and flows to a tower body through the non-linear resistor element in a lightning insulator 6, an insulating terminal 37, an earth conductor 36, a mount link mechanism 3 and a support arm 2 and earthed. A surge current is detected by a sensor 38 to be inputted to an operation displays part 43 through a cable 41 and the power thereof is ignited and a display piece is protruded by the explosive power thereof and a display strip is suspended. At each time when a thunderbolt surge current flows through the insulator 6, the display part 43 is operated and the number of times of the thunderbolt surge current flowing to the insulator 6 can be confirmed.
