Method and apparatus for Measuring the level of a flowable material from a container by use of a microwave Signal.The Method comprises the following Operations: First, the microwave signal is FED from a Transmitter via a waveguide tube which extends vertically downward through the Container and connected with the surface, so that the material that surrounds it; Second, the signal is reflected back through the waveguide.
