The method is for producing prestressed reinforced concrete floor slabs, using a mould with bottom and diverging walls. Reinforcing wires are placed under tension in the mould and the concrete is poured over them and compacted. After setting and sawing through concrete and wires at the joins between the slabs, these are knocked out. The height of the mould sidewalls is less than the thickness of the slabs to be produced, whose protruding portions are formed by sliding shuttering travelling over the mould in the lengthwise direction.
