PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus attained in the enhancement of productivity, constituted in such a mechanism that plural chuck pawls attached to a movable frame is made openable, closable and revolvable by a drive mechanism to carry out the rearrangement of the clamp mechanism of a tempering head automatically within a short time. CONSTITUTION:By a hydraulic cylinder 28 attached to a sadle 24 made movable along a rail 23 by a motor 25, a support plate 29 is vertically attached to a support frame 26 made movable along a dovetailed groove 27 while a movable plate 32 is provided in parallel relation thereto and a roller 38 attached to said movable plate 36 is brought into contact with a guide plate 31 attached to the support plate 29 by a boss 30 to be received thereby and made revolvable by operating a hydraulic cylinder 48. A chuck mechaism 35 comprising L-shaped chuck pawsl 46 pivotally mounted to a support arm 45 is provided on the above mentioned movable plate 36 and the chuck pawls 46 are opened and closed through links 41, 42, a shaft 40 and a pin 47 by the operation of a hydraulic cylinder 44 to clamp the clamp mechanism of a tempering head 1.
