PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the imaging of the longitudinal relaxation time in a rotary system, by allowing space selectivity to follow spin rocking in a laboratory system in the rotary system. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus used in this measurement is provided with a sequencer 1-2, a transmitting system 1-3, a receiving system 1-4, a static magnetic field generation magnet 1-5, a magnetic field gradient generation system 1-6 and a signal processing system 1-7 under the control of CPU1-1. The sequencer 1-2 sends an order necessary for measurement to each apparatus. According to this order, a high frequency magnetic field H1 is applied to a spin system from the transmitting system 1-3 and magnetic field arrangement is applied thereto from the magnetic field gradient generation system 1-6. The response of the spin system to the applied elements is received to perform phase sensible detection (PSD) before sent to the signal processing system 1-7 which in turn performs processing such as Fourier conversion to display the signal intensity distribution of an arbitrary cross section or distribution obtained by performing the operation of plural signals while converting the same to an image.
