PURPOSE:To facilitate prescription of update instruction easing mixing of illegal data, and to execute a countermeasure at the time of mixing of the illegal data by executing assertion directly after execution of update instruction of the data base. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of the kinds of the operation and the object data transmitted from a control line (c), an assertion execution decision section 3 decides whether or not the assertion is executed at the time of data base updating by having reference to the assertion memory part 5 and informs an assertion execute part 6 through a control line f. For executing the thus informed assertion, the executing part 6 executes the assertion with respect to the data base 2 through the control lines (g) and (h) by having reference to the assertion memory part 5. The result of the assertion of whether it is a true or a false value is informed through a control line (i) to an assertion control part 4 and further informed to the outside through a control line (j).
