Educational teaching apparatus, which exhibits the shape of a book or of a folder 1, 100, formed by two covers 2, 101 and 3, 102, connected together by a back 4, 103, characterised: - in that one of the faces of the two covers 2, 101 exhibits: - on the one hand a compact electronic apparatus essentially comprising a microprocessor 12, memories 13, a keyboard 100, 110 and a display unit 11, 111, - and, on the other hand, a series of exercise cards 6, 106; - and in that one of the faces of the other cover 3 comprises initiation cards 7, 114 for making use of the said electronic apparatus 5, 110.
