The invention relates to an apparatus for photographing a head in order to assess a person's hairstyle, it being possible to lay a transparent, flat support on the photograph produced, showing at least one illustration of a hairstyle. The apparatus has a vertical disc on the reverse of which a Polaroid camera is arranged which photographs the head of the person through the said disc, directly or via a mirror. The front of the disc reflects the head of the person, and the disc has markings which indicate the size of the head and hence determine the distance of the head from the disc. IMAGE
