PURPOSE:To make optimum clutter suppression possible by discriminating statistical distribution characteristics of a clutter amplitude to suppress clutter. CONSTITUTION:A Weibull distribution function setting circuit 3 determines a distribution function F(U) in accordance with a logarithmic conversion value U of a radar reception signal due to a logarithmic amplifying circuit 1 and an A/D converting circuit 2 and impresses it to a Weibull converting circuit 4.
