摘要

In a process for producing copper alloy tubular continuous-casting moulds, the mould walls defining the mould cavity are shaped by means of an explosive so as to conform to the geometry of a die. In order to produce tubular moulds having an increased softening temperature and a higher strength, a tube composed of a hardenable copper alloy is solution-heat- treated or is formed at the solution- heat-treatment temperature and thereafter hardened by heat-treatment at 400 - 600 DEG for at least 15 minutes, and explosion-forming is thereafter carried out.
