This instrument is an improved version of a development instrument for the construction of three dimensional objects. It comprises x,y,z coordinate simulators, mechanically coupled to an instrument for recording linear coordinates and a device for stimulating angular coordinates, linked to a control console. A processing system stores the data which may subsequently be used for the control of electronically operated machines. Manually operated simulators for linear coordinates x,y (22,23) are coupled to a coordinate recording unit (11). A device (12) for recording angular coordinates is linked to a control console (3). The linear coordinates are visualised on a screen (20).
