The self-loading forage wagon has a conveyor engaging in a channel with circulating arms and cutting equipment in the form of guided blades projecting into the channel. The blades can be swivelled out od the channel against spring tone using two spaced bearings, the first of which allows blade movement opposite to the direction of travel. The second bearing consists of a pivot arm connected with the blade by a support shaft. The centre line through the centres of the two shafts runs transverse to the conveying direction. The blade is guided between two guide faces in the region between the two bearings.
