Pyrethroid and organo-tin association for cotton crops - comprises cypermethyrin pref. with cyhexatin, azocyclotin or fenbutatin oxide to give increased crop yields
Treatment of cotton plantations or cotton crops, to control pests and improve yields, comprises applying a composition containing a mixture of cypermethrin (I) and an organo-tin pesticide. Typical organo-tin pesticides are cyhexatin (II), azocyclotin (III) or fenbutatin oxide (IV). Control of pests in cotton crops. Pref. (I) is applied at 15-60 (esp. 20-40) g/ha and the organo-tin pesticide is applied at 100-500 (esp. 150-300) g.ha. Claimed compositions contain (I) (10 wt. parts) in combination with an organo-tin pesticide (30-100 wt. pts., esp. 35-250 wt. pts.) and suitable supports, surfactants and agricultural adjuvants.
