The ball has a plastics base (1) which has an integral plastics bracket of which the end is bent back to house a self-tapping screw. The metal dome (7) has a plastics securing pin (8) with self clamping action. The centre pin (5) has, near the bottom, a flanged collar (11) on which rests the centre part of the actuating lever (12). The equispaced three pronged lever, has the actuating grip (13) at one end. The lever other ends consist of arms (17) which extend into pins (18), the round ends of which support metal clapper discs. A collar (11) fits a hair pin spring (21) which provides the return movement of the clapper discs.
