PURPOSE:To make avilable the higher regenerative efficiency and the storage of extended period, by storing cold-heat or hot-heat in the underground utilizing an aquifer having a prior ground surface as an impermeable layer and present in a plurality of different prior valley topographies. CONSTITUTION:While wells 19, 20 are bored through auifers 15, 16 present in different prior valley topographies 17, 18 spaced apart each other with a given distance, an underground water containing hot heat or cold heat is lifted from one well 20 by means of a pump 21, a pipe 22 and the like. The underground water thus lifted is introduced into a heat exchanging means 23 where the hot heat or the cold heat is removed off the underground water, while simultaneously pouring to other well 19 a cold or hot heat-laden waste water introduced through the heat exchanger 23 via a pipe 25. In this manner, a heat regenerative efficiency can increased and the heat can be stored for extended periods, by storing the hot or cold heat in the aquifer of prior valley topography. Besides, the well can be bored with a short span apart each other, reducing a well boring cost. Thus, it is possible to provide an underground regenerative structure into and from which the underground water can be easily delivered and lifted.
