PURPOSE:To reduce the torque ripple and to obtain a strong rotary torque of a DC motor by forming a commutator with 10segments, field poles in 4-poles, thereby reducing the winding and time zone which do not contribute to rotation. CONSTITUTION:A field pole 9' has 4 poles. An armature winding 4' which is wound on the side of a rotor 1' body is formed in width narrower than the pole width of the pole 9 in the groove angle of the conductor unit which contributes to the generated torque. The body has salient poles 2'-1-2'-5, and is formed with slots 3'-1-3'-5. Armature windings 4'-1-4'-5 are respectively wound on the poles 2'-1-2'-5. A commutator 6' having 10segments is fixed onto a rotational shaft 7.
