Electro-mechanical distributor for paste products in deformable tubes - uses two electrically driven rollers supporting lower end of tube to flatten tube end and distribution nozzle fitted to open end of tube
The contents are forced out of the tube by two rollers, and pass through a duct to an outlet nozzle. The two juxtaposed rollers are geared together to be contra-rotating when driven by a motor, and grip the lower (closed) end of the vertically oriented tube. The open end of the tube is supported by a horizontal plate which runs in a vertical track allowing the tube to descend as it is emptied. A cap is fitted over the open end of the tube and has a duct carrying the paste to a tapered distribution nozzle which points downwards. An on/off switch is fitted on the nozzle. A feeler activates a priority circuit breaker, shutting off the motor supply when the limit of the tube is reached by the pressure rollers.
