Mechanical random number generator for french lottery - uses double ovoid structure with multiple pointers of which some are positioned over fast numbers and others pointing to new numbers
The device mechanically generates random numbers which are compatible with the French national lottery using data on the previously drawn numbers. The results of previous draws in the lottery are marked in a grid of numbers on a transparent plastics sheet. Successive sheets are bound together to form a book. A double ovoid annular structure with fifteen pointers on it is then placed over the marked sheets and oriented till each of the marked numbers has a pointer on it. The remaining pointers then indicate numbers which can be expected to have a higher probability of occurrence in the next draw.
