The removal process includes a stage where bottles(C) stored inside a box(B) are conveyed by a first conveyor band. The bottles only are transferred from the first conveyor onto a second conveyor band, on which they are left in an unfettered condition. The removal of the bottle cover takes place during the transfer from the first to the second conveyor. The stages during the transfer include the temporary holding of the bottles inside their box on the first conveyor band, the removal of the bottle stopper and finally the gripping of the bottles prior to their transfer to the second conveyor band.
