TRASH WALKER NO-TILL DRILL PLANTING SYSTEMABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREDrill planting system providing for no-till,uniform seeding through field trash, such as prior cropresidue, in which rotatably driven trash walker means isassociated with seed drill means to provide for uniformuninterrupted drill planting by preventing build-up of surfacetrash in front of seed drill means during movement in theplanting direction. Surface trash is removed rearwardly ofthe seed drill means and scattered over planted area. Thetrash walker means are mounted to provide for pivotal arcuatemovement in a vertical plane to allow for changing groundcontour.A trash walker wheel is provided with a dished webportion and tooth-like blades extending from the web portionabout the periphery of the wheel. Such distal teeth areradially elongated, have rounded terminal ends, are pre-determinedly disposed on each side of the plane of rotationand curved to provide a self-cleaning action during operation.750-2
