Electronic card game dealing appts. with processing unit - assessing card value and comparing with values of earlier cards to produce signal corresp. to dealing rack compartment
A card rack has compartments corresp. to the number of players. Cards are distributed to the compartments with a predetermined value for each. Each card has to pass a value assessment unit having its output signal connected to a signal processing unit comprising a memory holding data as to the fifty-two cards' different values, distribution of the cards to the various players, and hand composition. The processing unit, on receipt of the assessment unit's signal, produces directly or indirectly an output signal corresp. to the compartment to which, according to the memory, the card belongs. It also incorporates an earlier card's value recorder, and the card value assessment unit's output signal is compared with each of the received signals from earlier cards. Where agreement occurs, i.e two cards with the same value, the processing unit produces no signal corresp. to a compartment. (Provisional Basic advised Week K13).
