PURPOSE:To generate electric power by utilizing tidal current by a method in which large numbers of artificial floating islets are provided between the bank and a breakeater equipment and tidal current-rotation type water wheels are provided between the adjacent artificial floating islets. CONSTITUTION:Artificial floating islets 3 are provided with intervals between the bank 1 and a breakwater equipment 2 extending in almost parallel with the bank 1, and a tidal current-rotation type water wheel 4 is provided between the adjacent artificial floating islets 3. By utilizing the breakwater equipment 2, tidal current is generated in the longitudinal direction of the equipment 2 between the bank 1 and the equipment 2 and also between the adjacent artificial floating islets in such a way as to generate electric power. In addition, a wind power- generating and wind-breaking equipment 6 and a solar energy collecting plate 8 are provided and the generation of electricity is effectively performed by utilizing the natural energies.
