摘要
A process for making new jeans style skirts or trousers look like hardworn clothes involves unstitching and flattening the component parts of a genuinely worn and/or faded garment having the desired appearance. The projected pattern of holes or discolourations is copied to a printing process to be applied to panels of virgin fabric, to show the border outlines or worn holes etc. The printed fabric is out along the printed borders and the pieces reassembled by stiching to resemble geniely patched garments. The dye is partly leached from zones marked as faded on the original pattern garment. Produces a fashionable ragged appearance associated with the worn jeans image. Allows new fabric panels to be cut in gps. using suitable pins to exactly register superposition of the pre-printed panels.
