The solar heating system which circulates air heated by the sun through a building, has one wall (5) facing the sun, completely glazed so as to heat selected heat absorbing surfaces inside. These surfaces form walls (10) and partitions for the space enclosed by the remaining external walls. At least a part of the basement is used as a heat accumulator (27) and contains a charge of heat absorbing material (28). The hot air collected is circulated through a closed circuit to warm the interior. The air is passed through ducts between the floors, and upper ducts can incorporate a fan (36). A lower duct can incorporate another fan (30),discharging outwards from the heat accumulator. Further fins (40) can discharge used air and introduce fresh air at the rear.
