The multiconductor overhead line spacer and vibration damper system is designed for use with four conductors. The system has four arms (2) connected in pairs by two parts (3). Each of the arms (2) has a pair of jaws at one end. The jaws are made up of a fixed part (4) and a movable part (5) connected to the fixed part by a bolt (6). At the other end of the arm (2) is a fitting (8) which engages into the damper body (3). The fitting (8) has a circular slot (9) in it into which an elastic deformable ring (10) engages. This ring (10) forms the damping element of the system. The fitting (8) has also a triangular section rib (12) on it which engages into a triangular shaped slot (13) in the damper body (3). The dia. of the rib (12) is greater than the dia. of the opening (11) in the damper body (3).
