The horsebox (10) is particularly in trailer form, accommodating one or two horses. On the outside on one side is a hinging extensible supporting frame (20-28) for a tent roof (32), under which one or more further horses can be stabled. The frame can comprise two pivoting vertical beams spaced apart on the box side, with a horizontal beam fixed to the top of each and also supported from it by an inclined strut, together with two or more sections adjustable in relation to each other.
