Chew (I) consists of a large proportion of comminuted raw skin, a smaller proportion of gelatin and salt and foodstuff colouring agents as additives, all ingredients having been mixed together with a large amt. of water, stuffed into natural intestine and then air dried. The raw skin contains ca. 92% protein and 7% chalk, so (I) is ideal for hunting dogs which can fill their stomachs during a long days hunting, with a chew made of natural materials. The raw skin used is a by prod. in the prodn. of leather, so (I) is economical. (I) can be stored for unlimited periods and no unpleasant smells develop during storage.
