The development system is structured as an aid to the establishment of control programmes in a computerised telephone exchange system. The system has a coupling matrix for establishing telephone links that is directed by a main processor under the direction of the control programme. The development system has a working store (AM), processor (ALU), keyboard input (IU) with visual (DI), display programme memory (PM) data memory (DM) and additional status memory (SM) The system is designed for ease of use with the data system holding a range of programme language statements, such that input may be entered in the simplest possible form.
