PURPOSE:To elevate the reliability of data obtained from a water flowing type aquatic life test by invariably securing an accurate action for a long test period with a proper adjustment of the water head to make the flow rate of a test water controllable to a constant level. CONSTITUTION:A glass tank 4 is placed on the first rack 3a at the highest level of a test equipment body 1 and always supplied with water adjusted to a specified temperature and a sufficient level of dissolved oxygen through a water supply main 5. A part of water flows over to a drain treating tank through a outflow pipe connected to the water tank 4 so that the water level of the water tank 4 will be always kept constant. This provides not only a simple operation but also a large dilution rate and an optional selection, especially making it effective for examining effect of sample on aquatic life in an area of extremely low concentration.
