Acid aq. concentrated solns. of dye of formula (I) are claimed (where A circled negative is HCOO circled negative, CH3COO circled negative or CH3CH2COO circled negative). The solns. pref. contain 0.4-0.8 mole of (I) and 2.5-9 moles HCOOH, CH3COOH or C2H5COOH per kg. soln. Other aliphatic carboxylic acids and/or aliphatic alcohols and/or dyeing or printing adjuvants are pref. also present. The solns. are used for dyeing/printing acid gp.-contg. fibres, esp. acrylic fibres. Solns. of (I) can be mixed with solns. of dyes of formula (II) or (III) without producing a cloudy mixt. (where hal is Cl or Br, Y is H or Me, Z is Me or Et, R is H, Me or Et). (cf. when in (I) A circled negative is Cl-, sulphomethylate, chlorozincate or BF4-).
