Direction control method for serial goods supply system - has identification and reading station for two=part code which controls manipulators to move containers along guide tracks
The transport control system for the movement of transport containers, typically holding pharmaceutical products, consists of a number of commissioning units (1-9) alongside a roller track (10) with an inlet section (12) for unladen containers, a control unit (18) and an outlet section (13) for laden containers. Each transport unit has a characteristic code for the container and a transferable code for the contents. The first code part is picked up at the identification station (14), and this is followed by a number of reading stations (31,39). The desired contents code enables pushers to move the containers onto alternate tracks. A light beam control system is used to check the filling and movement of the containers.
