The wind turbine drives a power generator. Its division in smaller turbine units enables the utilisation for low force winds, which extends its utilisation period. The design provides a more uniform and quiet drive of the generator. The turbine apertures can be opened or closed by a mechanical or electrical control system, and the turbine assembly can swivel through 360 deg. The turbine diameters may be smaller and may be thus more acceptable in their environments. The suitable assembly can be easily mounted on flat roofs, or the turbines can be assembled in suitable banks for driving large power plants.
