A circuit for evaluation of the load current of a one-shot direct voltage converter has a measurement transducer in the output circuit. The output circuit is not additionally loaded nor subjected to additional losses. The measurement values are directly evaluated without delays and independently of the converter keying ratio. The series circuit contg. a storage capacitor (c) and the measurement transducer U1 primary winding (w1) is connected in parallel with the load resistance. The measurement transducer is a ring core transformer. For separately controlled one-shot blocking converters a measurement signal derived from the measurement transformer secondary winding (w2) is fed to the input of a control generator (ST) for the electronic switch. For flow transducer applications a further ring core transformer is used with opposite secondary current and its primary winding in the current circuit of a flow transducer electronic switch.
