PURPOSE:To perform a speedy and accurate dressing by using an annular grindstone to dress a grindstone for internal grinding with its inner circumferential portion. CONSTITUTION:In an annular cavity 5 in a grindstone holder 3, an annular grindstone 6 for dressing in inserted and fixed by a proper cap 7. The grindstone 6 dresses a grindstone 8 for internal grinding. Making the grindstone 6 for dressing rotate in the direction opposite to the rotation of the grindstone 8 for internal grinding permits a speedy dressing.
