PURPOSE:To restrain the abrasion and damages of a pollution prevention film and to enable to use it for a long time by a method wherein a part of the sea bottom corresponding to a place where a pollution prevention film is to be installed, is previously excavated. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent pollution from dispersion in a sea area where a specified construction is performed in being surrounded with a silt protector 3, a sea bottom excavation A is previously performed at the sea bottom part where the silt protector 3 is installed. And the sea bottom excavation A has the depth of approximately 3 meters and the width 1 of approximately 5-15m and further it has the both side sea bottom along the tidal current with the inclined slopes of approximately 1:10. The silt protector 3 is lowered from a float 1 which can float on the sea surface and anchors are moored to the both right and left sides of the float 1 with wire ropes 4, 4. As a result, the contact of the silt protector 3 to the sea bottom is prevented at low tide, thus reducing the abrasive movement.
