PURPOSE:To improve the combustion efficiency and engine output and to prevent a production of black smoke by using an LPG solved light oil as a fuel and injecting the fuel out of a fuel injector into a combustion chamber while maintaing the fuel in the solution state. CONSTITUTION:The combustion chamber 1 is communicated with a fuel tank 2 via a fuel supply passage 9, a fuel filter 3, a fuel injection pump 4 and a fuel injector 5. The fuel tank 2 has a sealed pressure tank construction and reservoirs an LPG solved light oil fuel. The inlet pipe 7 of the fuel tank 2 is provided with a valve 6 for supplementing fuel and an airtight joint 8 for supplementing fuel. By such a construction, it is possible to inject the LPG solved light oil fuel out of the fuel injector 5 into the combustion chamber 1 while maintaining the fuel in the liquid state. Such a fuel injection, in association with a good distributability of the LPG solved light oil fuel having a viscosity lower than the light oil and a high evaporizing characteristic thereof, ensures an instant gasification of the liquid fuel into a combustible gas and hence an effective combustion within the engine.
