The two piece (5, 6) coupling joins two flexible tubes (1, 2) end to end. A split tapered sleeve (24) may act between a groove (28) and a flange (21) to fix the axial relationship with a support panel (19). Both pieces are moulded onto the end of the respective plastic tubes. The primary tube (6) has diametrically opposed lugs (7, 8) set back from a plain spigot end (11). Two offset circumferential slot holes (12, 13) each occupy circular arcs greater than 180 deg., and allow the spigot (11) to yield elastically under axial compression. The secondary piece (5) enlarges to form a socket (5b), having quarter circular circumferential slot holes (16, 17) for the lugs.
