A distribution control device for a temporal switching network of a telecommunication centre comprises a series parallel converter (2) and parallel series converter (4) having respectively multiplex inputs (M1-4) and output lines (L51-4) and multiplex outputs (M5-8) and input lines (LE1-4), the converters being coupled by a better memory (3). A control unit (OC) provides a microprocessor (20) with information relating to connections to be established between a temporal route and a multiplex input, or an output line and a temporal route of an input line or a multiplex output. The information is then memorised in a control memory (10). Each word in the memory (10) defines an address of the buffer memory (3) to which the control memory (10) is connected. Each word of the buffer memory (3) is assigned to a temporal route. Writing of the control memory (10) is effected by a cyclic counter (9) time base controlled (10). Writing of the buffer memory (3) is effected under control of the counter (9) during a half period of the timebase signal while coding is effected during the other half period.
