The roof has a nominal transverse drainage camber, comprising a series of framed prefabricated and voided panels. Each panel spans two substructural walls, providing cantilever gutters with eaves boards. Each has a braced ladder frame superstructure with the longerons on the long edges. A continuous void is provided between an external load bearing cladding and a soffit board, the latter forming the celing to the compartment below. The void is completely sealed and may be filled with insulating material. The bracings may extend between the soffit board and the underside of the longerons.
