摘要
Boron is removed from the prim. coolant of a water-cooled nuclear reactor during the prim. coolant cleaning phase. A side stream of the prim. coolant is passed through a reverse osmosis unit. The water which has been deionised thereby is fed directly into the suction line of a variable displacement pump. A bypass from the prim. cooling circuit of a water-cooled reactor passes through a flew control and pressure reaming valves to a cleaning plant. A variable displacement pump returns it to the circuit. A branch line with a similar set of valves feeds the reverse osmosis unit through a solids filter. This method requires only a limited storage capacity for deionized water and necessitates no evaporation.
