The working position for a number of presons, eg. three or four, seated at desks and handling data, uses a table carrying the equipment associated with the data handling. The table carries the keyboard (1) for data entry and a set of manuals or other reference books carrying the codes for the data to be entered. Part of the surface (6) can be suitably angled to support a screen on printing device (2) for recording the entered data. This surface can be tilted (C) to obtain the best working angle and the whole can be raised and lowered (A) for height adjustment and can be rotated (B) about a vertical axis for access to the devices.
