The flue system has a ventilation control accordint to the ventilation principle of a table outflow nozzle (A) in conjunction with the second outflow nozzle (B) set above the workbench opening to shut off the air curtain. The inside of the cupboard can extend up to the room ceiling tapering upwards on all sides so that the rising billowing waste gas is kept in a large enough yet defined calming area from where it is introduced into the collecting receptacle provided (D). The air curtain which is produced with a low air volume and heat-saving temperature expense can be utilised to ventilate the cupboard.
