The method of treating bulk waste material includes first passing the material through a grid then the large fraction is broken by a machine with friction rollers. The small fraction is separated and clarified as cardboard, wood chips and stone chips. The large paper is bundled larger wood pieces are communicated for wood chips and stone chips are used for road work. Small separated material is ground down to powder with precautions against explosion, glass, stone etc. being separated for use in road work. The remainder is heat treated to eliminate plastics foil and similar and the paper and cardboard separated, for recycling. Magnetic separators are used at different points along the equipment.
