The material samples are fixed to rollers which move in curtain tracks set side by side and connected to the ceiling surface attached to ceiling which has various locks and/or is designed as an adhesive surface. The tracks are each associated with a narrow hollow section which has a screen on the side remote from the track and a handle at one of the head ends. The ceiling surface can comprise individual parts of iron plate which have hangers whilst the screens can be permanent magnets which are locked by screws onto the hollow section so as to position the track at the same time. Curtain and carpeting can now be displayed together as required to give the overall impression.
