Experimental compton effect test arrangement for school - has gamma ray transmitter and demonstrates angular dependence of compton effect using collimator and scatterer
The experimental Compton effect test set-up is intended to be used especially in schools. The Compton effect is demonstrated simply, qualitatively and quantitatively with an arrangement consisting of a collimetor, a scatterer and a shield. The gamma rays can be collimated optimally in the collimator and any scattering angle can be set with the dispersion lens. After the scattering operation a specific beam pencil can be stopped out.
