A VHF apparatus (20) is used for the connection on the output side of passive or active VHF units. It is especially for those used in communal aerial installations, and it consists of a PI section filter followed by a series resonant circuit. By appropriate dimensioning of the series resonant circuit its resonant frequency is arranged to lie between the highest VHF and the lowest UHF frequency to be covered by the application, so that both ranges can be effectively covered. The frequency may be arranged to coincide with that of a known interfering signal.
