Manometric indicator of passage of scraper piston in fluid pipe - has tube of breakable material as sensor attached to pipe through opening and projecting inside with information transmitted to display
The indicator is for the passage of a scraper piston associated with a fluid transport pipe. A body (3) is fixed to the pipe so it closes an opening into the pipe; inside this body is a sensor which protrudes through the opening and normally projects (5a) inside the pipe so it can receive information on the passage of the scraper piston. This information is transmitted to a display device (8). The sensor comprises a tube of breakable material and closed at one end only i.e. at the end which is within the pipe. This end is on the pistons path and the open end of the sensor tube is connected to a manometer (8) acting as a display system.
