The cover is for table mounted precast concrete during steam curing etc. and has a scissors frame bearing insulating cover panels, and is designed to afford compact cover storage whilst not in use, and not require lifting gear. The unit folds in the longitudinal sense with the scissors frame linking fore and aft vertical faces and the fore scissor hinge is carried on a vertical member which is supported by a ground bearing roller. Roof panels are of glass wool sandwiched in ribbed sheet steel, and hinge onto traverses at the scissor hinges.
