The closed cycle compressed air driven motor runs on a mixture of 96% air, 4% hydraulic fluid, stored at between 150 and 200 psi in a reservoir. For operation in very cold climates this has an electrical heater; for tropical operation heat dissipating Freon (RTM) tubes are fitted between reservoir and motor. Safety, control and air distribution equipment is conventional. Air enters the cylinders via valves increasing the effective pressure by up to eight times; returns to the reservoir via a rapid compressor. A 1 HP motor seitched on with the starter drives the compressor.
