Step pulse generating circuit for stepping motor drive - has counter stage whose connection to frequency divider incorporates store for data words, addressable by count words (NL 14.11.78)
The circuit has a frequency divider supplied with clock pulses of preset follower frequency, which transmits stepping pulses with identical follower frequency. The latter equals the clock pulse follower frequency multiplied by factors adjustable by data words. The circuit contains a counter stage actuated up or down by the stepping motor acceleration or deceleration, transmitting counter words, allocated to the data words, according to its state. In the connection path between the counter stage and the frequency divider is a data words store. The latter address input is supplied with the counter words. The store transmits a desired time course of the acceleration and the deceleration of the stepping motor in accordance with the counter words.
